Owner and Co-Founder, Farmer, Marketing & Communications

Hi, I'm Meredith Cohen! I grew up in Hillsborough, NC, and I am thrilled to be putting down roots here in Cedar Grove.

During the three years I spent working for Adamah Farm and living at the Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center, I fell in love with Jewish communal life and organic farming at the same time. I moved back to North Carolina in 2016, and I was lucky enough to work at some incredible farms in the area before starting my own business.

I started One Soil Farm in 2018. It's a dream to be working with my dear friend and farm partner Molly to grow food for our community.

Molly Zimmerman

Co-Founder, Farm Manager

Hi, my name is Molly, but some folks call me “Momo.” I’m originally from Los Angeles, CA and I love growing fruits and veggies! There is nothing like the joy of pulling a fresh carrot out of the ground or digging through the soil to find a golden potato treasure. I come to One Soil Farm with over a decade of farm production experience and an MS in Soil and Crop Sciences. I met Meredith in 2013 at Adamah Farm while participating in their Jewish farming fellowship program. After farming together for 3 seasons, I knew Meredith was my soil-mate. I am grateful to be cultivating a Jewish farm community with Meredith here in Durham, NC.
